Perfect for us

My husband and I are both borderline obese but the mattress feels both soft but firm to make us not feel like were sinking. I am a firm mattress girly and chose to try douglas from the reciews I saw. So far loving it

So far so good. Just wandering “if you wanted to return it “ how would we go about it?

Q: We presently have an Endy short queen in out TT. It was recommended to provide ventilation to the underside. I did this by placing spaced 1'X4" slats under the mattress with 1/2" diameter holes drilled every 6" through the plywood between the slats. We are trading our TT in for a new one and will leave the Endy in it. Will we have to do the same type of ventilation with a new Douglas mattress???

A: Hi Rick. Though a bit of extra breathability is ideal to optimize airflow, it's not required to place your Douglas mattress on slats in order to get the proper comfort and durability from your mattress. A solid, flat, and untreated surface -- like a platform bed or adjustable bed frame -- will suit your purposes.

Q: Reviews for rv/trailer mattresses, how do they fit? Comfort?

Q: I need to time my order to be manufactured and delivered by June 22 - 26, 2023 as I would be traveling to my RV on July 1, 2023 and do not want to take it out of the box until I arrive. Please confirm the date I would need to order for the manufacturing and delivery to Cochrane, Alberta T4C 1M7?

While we can't guarantee a specific delivery date or time, we can certainly aim to delay the processing of your order until a date that should align with your specified delivery window.

Regarding your second question, our mattresses are designed to endure a variety of climates, but very cold temperatures could affect the feel of the mattress. If the winter conditions are mild, your Douglas mattress should be fine in your RV.

Q: Hello! We have a Douglas king mattress at home. We just love it and have a great night’s sleep. I just saw you are making mattresses for rvs. Our trailer has a Murphy bed with a regular queen size mattress. Would you have a mattress for that style of bed? I believe it has a split in the foam near the top third to accommodate the fold. Thank you, Kathleen

A: Hi, Kathleen! Our standard and RV mattresses can be used with a Murphy bed.

However, if your Murphy bed has coils, springs, or a metal/wire grid system, it is not compatible. In addition, the bed must have straps to hold the mattress flat when it is stored and must accommodate the height of the mattress.

Q: Why can the mattress not be stored in the camper over the winter

A: Hi, Cole. Foam is sensitive to temperature, and in cold temperatures, the foam hardens. When the foam is hardened, it can easily crack or split.

A: Hi, Lee. The only difference between the Douglas mattress and the Douglas RV mattress is the dimensions.

We offer a metal bed frame and wood foundation that can be paired together to provide a suitable base for your new Douglas. However, please be aware that we only offer standard mattress sizes for that base combination. In addition, we also sell the Podium Adjustable Bed.
